When I retired, I started painting. The patience learned during 31 years
of teaching has come to good use in my painting! I receive great
satisfaction from taking a white canvas and turning it into a picture
with color and dimension. I love the details! Becoming more painterly
has been my goal for the last year. What a struggle!!! With the help of
Dan Edmondson, I think I am moving in the right direction now. Although
a challenge, painting is very relaxing and soothing – I can completely
lose myself in a piece. I hope that you will share that feeling as you
look at my work.
